Tezos (XTZ), the smart contract and decentralized applications platform have hired Roman Schnider, its new hand as a Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations department to run the establishment more appropriately. The platform where the protocols are governed by stakeholders recently updated the new hiring through its website on June 11.
Roman Schnider, is an expert of having 15+ years of experience in investment banking and also launched PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Switzerland’s Blockchain and cryptocurrency assurance division earlier. The Tezos Foundation is apparently considered the first large-scale blockchain organization to work with one of the “Big Four” PWC as its statutory auditor.
Schnider while expressing his thoughts said that he is looking forward to joining the Tezos Foundation. This move would be helpful for the organization to support its community and further relayed his positive expression and enthusiasm to work together in order to achieve the most effective, efficient, and transparent results.
Reportedly, Schnider is having a good number of experience and exposure with the organization’s protocol and the foundation’s contribution towards the community. Tezos is also considered the very first blockchain project which PWC has audited last year as an independent external auditor within its finance and business operations.
The website also informs the community about the old CFO of the Tezos foundation EelcoFiole and appreciated his important contribution towards the development of the organization.
Ryan Jesperson, President of the Tezos Foundation mentioned that CFO and the operations lead of the organization is crucial for the growing ecosystem and the success of the foundation. He further expresses about Roman and his long-standing PwC experience is a financial consultant and said, “ He is very well familiar with the opportunities and challenges that blockchain projects face and has a deep understanding of the Tezos Foundation from his time at PwC Switzerland.”
Reportedly, last month Tezos after the approval of three-months governance voting process mentioned to undergo its first token holder administered update dubbed Athens A.
