Tron News Today: Justin Sun Broadcasts Live Video From San Francisco

Justin Sun, the founder of Tron [TRX] blockchain, broadcasts a live video from San Francisco to invalidate reports that he was prohibited from decamping China because of an alleged police investigation.

Interestingly, Justin Sun launched a live video on Twitter, on July 23, for denying hearsay that he was prohibited from leaving China by local establishment based on charges of spreading pornography, money laundering, and gambling.

Furthermore, the Tron CEO posted his photograph with Tron’s director of communications. The image also has the Bay Bridge in the background, signifying that he is in the United States.

Chinese Media Tron [TRX] CEO Report, Warren Buffett Lunch

Caixin, a local Chinese media outlet, reported that a local Chinese office associated with Financial Risk matters, called on security organs to commence Tron CEO’s scrutiny. Notably, the present Chinese law states that those undergoing inquiry can be prevented from leaving China for a month to a year, according to Caixin. The report by Caixin further states that, Sun’s whereabouts were unclear, at press time.

Interestingly, the aforementioned report by Caixin, comes after an statement that Tron’s CEO is putting off the much speculated charity lunch with Warren Buffett. Conspicuously, the concerned parties approved to reschedule the meeting at a later date as Sun had ostensibly suffering from kidney stones, as per a Tron [TRX] Foundation tweet on July 22.

It is to be noted that the deferral came just a few days after Tron’s [TRX] CEO invited more prominent figures from the digital asset and cryptocurrency industry to be present at the lunch with “The Oracle of Omaha.” Interestingly, the list of people invited for the lunch included the head of Binance Charity Fund Helen Hai, eToro founder Yoni Assia, and the CEO of cryptocurrency payments firm Circle, Jeremy Allaire.

Tron [TRX] Price Shows Mild Recovery

In the interim, Tron [TRX] price has responded optimistically to the news, seeing a trivial recovery after a noteworthy beg off caused by the Chinese media reports. At the time of reporting, Tron [TRX] is up by 2.51 percent on a daily chart. On a weekly chart, it is seeing gains of around 1.51 percent, as per coinmarketcap.
