Gemini Crypto Exchange has become the 1st U.S. cryptocurrency exchange and a custodian to provide mobile wallet interaction services to crypto traders via blockchain wallet- powered by Samsung.
On May 28, Gemini through a press release announced the collaboration with Samsung electronics and its objective to bring the cryptocurrency adoption at the fingertips of Samsung wallet users in the United States and Canada- in a simple, elegant, and secure way.
Meaning, Gemini has integrated it’s a mobile app with Samsung’s blockchain wallet to allow the United States and Canadian citizens to buy, trade, and sell, or save (self-custody) cryptocurrencies at their convenience from one place via Samsung Galaxy phones.
The release has mentioned the names of Samsung Galaxy mobile devices in which this integration is available: Galaxy S20 Series, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Note 10 Series, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S10 series (S10 Lite is only available on U.S open device) excluding Verizon.
Moreover, Winklevoss Twins Gemini is allowing Samsung mobile users to store or transfer cryptocurrencies from their phone to Gemini cold storage and view their Gemini account balances.
At present, Gemini is supporting more than 20 cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ether, litecoin, and Zcash.
Taylor Winklevoss, CEO of Gemini exchange has expressed his passion to bring cryptocurrencies into mass adoption and said that “We are proud to be working with Samsung to bring crypto’s promise of greater choice, independence, and opportunity to more individuals worldwide.”
