The cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) payment option is now live at over two thousand Coca-Cola vending machines across both the nations. Particularly, the machines fall under the Coca-Cola Amatil’s network. The users need to have Centrapay’s Smart Wallet and scan the QR payment code using their smartphones, to pay with Bitcoin.
As per crypto media outlet, the cryptocurrency payment option has been enabled at more than two thousand machines throughout both nations. Presently, Bitcoin (BTC) is the only cryptocurrency accepted. Nevertheless, the establishment plans to add other digital assets in the future. Jerome Faury, the CEO of Centrapay, elucidated that amalgamation intricacy and bad user experiences are barriers to digital asset espousal.
