OneCoin Konstantin Ignatov Testifying Against Fugitive Ruja Ignatova

OneCoin, $4 billion cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme co-founder and the brother of a mastermind Ruja Ignatova, is ready to testify against his sister. 

Konstantin Ignatov, the co-founder of the shabby stratagem is agreed to support the law enforcement department and standing against “Crypto Queen” Ruja Ignatova along with four other defendants in a settlement deal in which U.S. law court will dismiss his charges of Onecoin scam’s civil litigation voluntarily. 

In a recent update by law360, Ignatov settling his criminal offense and harmonized to take the witness stand as a cooperative supporter to support the lawsuit and OneCoin investors by providing all the required information and documents to bring the case forward. 

As per the information, the New York Federal Court approved a joint request of cooperation on behalf of Ignatov. The District Judge Valerie E. Caproni signed off the dismissal deal in which Ignatov is a defendant. Reportedly, Ignatov is free from the charges of Security fraud, Wire fraud, negligent misinterpretation including other accusations brought by the victims of fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme.

With this action, Plaintiffs’ and OneCoin victims expecting Ignatov to cooperate truthfully concerning the case and would deliver all the intricate materials to debrief the case to the best of his abilities.

Ignatov is required to testify in the trial court without beseeching his Fifth Amendment protections. Ignatov is also a defendant and cooperative witness of another case which is going on against the lawyer and OneCoin money launderer Mark Scott since November 2019.

Allegedly, Mark Scott received $50 million to launder $4 billion for Ruja Ignatova.

The information indicates that if Ignatov fully cooperates and provides faithful and accurate information including all the documents, the “stipulation of discontinuance will be construed as a dismissal with prejudice in satisfaction of Plaintiffs’ claims.”

Earlier this year, two more defendants of OneCoin got a release from the claims by U.S. lawsuit, namely – Irina Andreeva Dilinska (the spokesperson of OnceCoin and head of legal and compliance department) and Sebastian Greenwood (the co-founder and Public face of OneCoin who grabbed hundreds from investors via affiliate programs through social media appearances). Reportedly, The victims decided to drop off their sues in a voluntary dismissal against them.
