Bitflyer has partnered with Brave Software International SEZC to accelerate the cryptocurrency adoption on a larger level with a plan to launch a crypto asset wallet.
In a recent announcement on July 9, Brave and Bitflyer mentioned about their intentions to bring crypto in the mainstream. Though the complete information on the new crypto asset wallet would be reportedly revealed on July 30th event- where the founder of Brave token, Brendan Eich is believed to show his presence and would talk to advertisers as well. The event will take place in Tokyo, Japan.
Bitflyer is the major and only licensed cryptocurrency exchange in the Japanese markets having an authority to operate in Japan, the U.S., and the EU. With this new initiative and with the backing of Bitflyer, the utility token-based web browser has high chances to explore new partnerships and establish it’s presence in Japan on a larger scale.
As per the information, initially, the Basic Attention Token Points (BAP) instead of BAT would be allotted to the Japanese users who are using the Brave browser due to certain unspecified regulatory norms in the country. Reportedly, the regulations are not permitting Japanese users to earn BAT cryptocurrency tokens.

The announcement reads:
“In April, bitFlyer listed Basic Attention Token, a utility token integrated with the Brave browser. To further strengthen our cooperation, we will start developing a crypto asset wallet for Brave browser users. We will also launch a joint marketing campaign to expand the recognition of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology among our customers and to improve customer convenience.”
Moving further, few media reported while citing industry speculations on the initiative of creating a new crypto wallet that the new crypto asset wallet may be deployed to assist Japanese Brave Browser users to convert their BAP points into BAT token later.

The chromium-based browser claims to block ads and website trackers while deploying decentralized technologies. According to Wikipedia, Brave “provides a way for users to send cryptocurrency contributions in the form of Basic Attention Tokens to websites and content creators.”
