Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Mentions Blockchain As A Frontier Tech During Recent Speech

Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, has lately shown the green light for blockchain as a prospect in upcoming technology which gives confidence that India’s stance is becoming more positive towards the blockchain domain, though crypto still remains a grey area.

Modi pitched India as a harbor for international investors, in a keynote address at the Indian Ideas Summit. The Indian Prime Minister talks about Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and other technologies as the prospects which gives additional confidence that the nation is opening up to the bourgeoning sector.

Blockchain, AI, 5G and Machine Learning

In a keynote address at the Indian Ideas Summit, the Prime Minister pitched the nation as a haven for international investors. Part of his speech included a ratification for blockchain sector as an investment option.

He further mentioned,

“Opportunities in technology also include opportunities in the frontier technologies of 5G, Big data analytics, Quantum computing, Blockchain and Internet of things.”

Apart from that, Modi mentioned that half a billion individuals in India have already been in touch with the Internet. The remaining ones are expecting connection to one of the major technological advances of this century.
