  • Decentralized projects like libra soon to boom, as money goes digital in the next 10 years.

A16z or Andreessen Horowitz- the venture capital firm is highly bullish on the growth of digital transformation in money and the upcoming projects like Libra.

In a recent interview with Bloomberg, the prominent VC’s general partner, Katie Haun  shared her thoughts on the mushrooming digital transformation which is taking place world over, with the advent of Bitcoin and the following upbeats projects.

Haun expresses that “the future is digital and bank-free.”

The next 10 years are proving to be crucial as the traditional concept of money is going to be changed and replaced by digital money. More projects like Libra and Celo are likely to replace the old concepts of investments and will take-over the digital forms, just like books and music are today have gone digital, according to Huan.

Last year, Andreessen Horowitz has invested in Libra and this year in March invested approx. $15 million while backing Libra’s rival Celo– believing in the wild digital future of money/fiat/cash, and decentralized fintech industry.

Haun believes that projects like Libra and Celo are making the pave for the Silicon valley-based venture capital firm, for future success.

Though Facebook’s Libra has become a controversial project, the firm still has confidence, in the idea of transforming and exchanging cash or fiat entirely digital and trade via global digital currency.
