XRP News Today: Ripple Cofounder Gets Thousand Cameras Installed Around San Francisco Streets

The co-founder and executive chairman of Ripple, Chris Larsen is spending his treasure on installing high-definition investigation cameras around the streets of San Franciso, according to a new report.

As per the New York Times, Larsen recently paid to have a grid of thousand cameras installed as part of an exertion to minimize burglary in the US city.

Larsen mentioned that he sees his drive as a substitution system of city security. He added that he hopes it will become a role model for other conurbations. He mentioned that he had begun considering the proposal subsequent to the shoplifting of his father-in-law’s car and the smashing of his own car’s windows.

Nonetheless, his decision to act came in 2011 after “a group of men climbed into his garden and one of them cut the wires on his home security system while his children were sleeping inside,” according to the New York Times report.

The remittance network’s executive chairman stated that he hope to see full-city camera coverage in the future that would permit the police and law officials to perform a minor, more elusive part.
